Established by H.E. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca in 2015, The Malta Trust Foundation takes concrete action to support disadvantaged young people, in aiming for a brighter future through empowerment and psychosocial initiatives.
SERVICES
Villabianca provides tailor-made music sessions within a specialised environment. Each applicant attends introductory sessions that help identify the most appropriate musical pathway, whether through individual or group sessions. Each pathway is documented and regularly evaluated to ensure the best outcome for each individual journey through music. This may include adapted music tuition and/or music therapy in individual or group settings.
Derived from core principles of music therapy, Villabianca offers individually tailored plans in social care and educational settings to introduce music to their environment in a wholesome and enriching process for staff and residents alike.
One of Villabianca’s objectives is to enable training opportunities, mentoring and supervision for arts practitioners, educators and carers. Training opportunities both local and from organisations overseas will be available once the centre has launched.
